The Catholic Ladies Relief Society of the Sacramento Diocese was formed April 24, 1888 to provide aid and assistance to the poor and others in need to support charitable institutions, and to encourage the moral, social and intellectual development of its members. CLRS Society #6 Auburn was chartered in 1924. We are a charitable organization of women from St. Teresa’s and St. Josephs dedicated to the church, support of charities and prayer for others. We buy scrip to support the school and use it to buy food for the AIFC. Some of our members volunteer at the AIFC and St. Joseph’s Thrift Store. We also support the Pillow Project which provides pillows for children who endure long bus trips in order to visit their parent in prison far from home.
