Our benefit concert on 4/5/22 was a very moving and prayerful event, and a very successful fundraiser!  Thank you to all who attended for your incredible generosity, and special thanks to Jean Sawyer, Francesca Filice, our choir members, instrumentalists, and everyone else who made the program possible.

We will continue to collect contributions for the people of Ukraine, which will be given to Catholic Relief Services Ukraine Relief Effort.

As you know, many of our ministries had to cut back activities due to the pandemic. That included our various choirs. Now we are ramping back up, and as we welcome back existing members, we are in need of some additional singers and instrumentalists to fill out our ranks. If you’ve ever considered getting involved in music ministry, now is the time!

About the Music Ministry:

The Music Ministry is designed to provide a means for parishioners to share their musical gifts while inspiring the congregation to fully, actively, consciously participate in the Mass. This ministry offers opportunities for participation as cantors, instrumentalists and choral singers.

Groups currently in place and open to new members include:

• Adult Choir Sunday, 8:30 am Mass Sunday
• Children's/Youth Choir 10:30 am Mass Sunday
• Spanish Mass, 4 pm Sunday
• Children's School Mass Choir 8:30 am Wednesday 

The ability to read music is not a prerequisite to participate in these groups.

If there is sufficient interest, we will also be adding the following:

• Saturday 5 pm Mass Choir
• Gregorian Chant Seasonal Choir - this group will provide music at special Holy Days and other services througout the year, bringing back acapella music from the roots of our faith tradition. Anyone interested is invited to audition for this unique group.

We are also seeking singers who would like to audition as cantors, and additional instrumentalists to further enhance our liturgies. As with the cantors, instrumentalists will be asked to audition.
